Daily Chat

Tuesday, 10th March, 2009, 4:40pm
Hello!
Yes I am still around : )  I had to update a couple of cart items and thought I would pop in to say hello.  I am not sure if anyone is still checking in to read my chat anymore..  If you are, thanks for checking in and hope you are well!

I made a few beads, but they are not even worth listing here.  I finally found myself wanting to make some beads, but we just bought an apartment and we are moving in this Friday!  Actually I should say, we are 'starting' to move in this Friday, as we will move a bit by bit for the next couple of weeks (I hope so!).  It is an absolute kaos here.  I am trying to organise so many things, while busy teaching for the last two weeks.   Anyway, that's all from me for the moment..  I will update again soon and thanks again for checkin in!!

Hello!!  I am still here!!
Still alive and kicking.. Busy packing new findings and spending my only day-off (Sundays) checking out apartments and catching up with friends.  Talking about friends..  My best friend from the uni days, Agatha.. Well, she got married a few years ago, moved up to Canberra and I kinda lost contact with her all these time.  Then out of all the places, I bumped into her (well, she saw me, I didn't, doh..) at Victoria Garden shopping mall.  I don't even go there often, but somehow we had to check out Ikea there.  We had a quick and fast lunch at the food court below Ikea and grabbed coffee to check out Freedom and got blocked off entry by a security guy, because no drinks/food were allowed inside.  So I was standing near the food court, trying to gulp down hot, JUMBO size coffee and somehow Agatha spotted me.  Since then we caught up twice.. It is all surreal!  If I got into Freedom, I wouldn't have bumped into Agatha.  And I still can't believe Agatha is a mother of cute, 3 year old boy!!  Gosh.. I still feel like we are giggly uni students..

Anyway.. It has been months since I made any beads!  To me, beadmaking is incredibly creative process and I just don't feel like making anything, if I don't feel creative.  Finally, I feel like I want to make something..  Maybe it is all the new eye shadow colours I have been playing with (!!), but I just feel like sitting at the torch and play with colours.  So I will make new Summer colours and a few of new Autumn colours as well..  Why Autumn colours?  I am looking looking forward to fun, bright summer colours, but I also love rich violet, purple and red colours for Autumn 2008..  Not that I ever cared for colour or seasonal restrictions, when it comes to jewellery!

That's it from me today..  Hope you have a wonderful weekend.  Once I make beads, I will send out the notifications to those on the mailing list!!  If you are not on the list, please come back in two weeks and check what I have in store..
